A couple of weeks ago, I had an incredible spiritual experience. While out on a walk, I decided to speak to my higher self. Now, you can call it praying if you choose, and you can say I was speaking to God, my angels, guides, friends, mentors—whatever you are the most comfortable with. I started my conversation (out loud and not just in my head) with my confusion over my own beliefs. Formalized religions and rituals don't work me, and my science minded self frequently asks if any of this is real.

Since I was very young, I have been aware of a presence with me. So close in fact, that I can almost always feel the touch down my left arm, as though someone is walking alongside me, just a fraction of a pace ahead of me. The presence is non-judgmental but always guiding and encouraging me.
As I talked and walked, the sense of peace and balance was simply beautiful. But something new happened, something I have never experienced before. This time, rather than just feeling a presence on my left side, I felt presences on my right and behind me as well. I also knew that these presences have always been there, I had just never tuned into them before. The effect was a deep knowing that that my life has purpose and meaning, and that it is all about learning to express my highest self. But even more beautifully, it was the knowledge that while I have come so far (so very far in life!), that there is so much more in store for me. A beautiful journey lies in front of me.

When I got home after my walk, I shared the experience with Eldon. I then looked at the affirmations on the programs I had been using and could find correlations on all of them. After 35+ years of working with InnerTalk I should not be surprised!
